Description:
Shawnee County Health Agency provides a variety of services including:
Clinical services - primary health care, family planning, pregnancy testing and prenatal care.
Environmental Health services - child care licensing, lead poisoning prevention, food safety, and air and water quality.
Adult Field services - home health, home care assistance, senior companions, stroke support groups and foot clinics.
Public Health services - maternal and child health, WIC, immunizations, and communicable disease.
Health Education - smoking cessation, heart healthy nutrition, and diabetes education.
