There are a variety of opportunities for volunteers at the Sunflower State Games. You may prefer to assist at a sporting event, conduct check-in/registration or help with hospitality. We will work with you to choose the best assignment for your interests and skills.

For many of our volunteers, it is the feeling of accomplishment, sharing in others' success or just having fun that keeps them returning year after year.

2007 marks the 5th year for Topeka to host this premier sports event and managing an event with 6,000 athletes has been achieved largely with the extraordinary hospitality efforts put forth by Topeka and the surrounding area volunteers. Your enthusiasm and courtesy will provide a rewarding experience for all our visitors!

There are no training requirements for our volunteers. If a volunteer has special training or skills the feel are relevant, please inform us about them.

The office is located in Downtown Topeka. From 10th St. turn North on Kansas Ave and continue to 820 S. Kansas Ave. The office is located on the east side of the street. Volunteers will be directed to sporting venues located throughout Topeka.
