The Topeka Service Center has an ongoing need for help with general clerical tasks particularly filing of records and documents for a unit that determines eligibility for medical assistance for elderly and disabled persons in our community. This unit handles a very high volume caseload. The volunteer will work with the staff in organizing and filing information so that customer needs are addressed in a timely and efficient manner. This position is a great opportunity for someone having or needing experience in office management. The volunteer must pass a security clearance and have no felony conviction or confirmation of child or adult abuse. The volunteer must have the ability to file records alphabetically or in a proscribed manner. This opportunity is sponsored by: Topeka SRS Service Center
