The Clinton Sunrise Rotary Club is comprised of business and organizational leaders committed to improving the quality of life in our community and addressing the needs of people at risk.
Our members are part of a worldwide network of Rotarians who volunteer time, talent and treasure to make life better in their communities and around the globe.

Description:
Our club continually works towards achieving several goals:

• COMMUNITY SERVICE GOAL: Have a strong and visible presence in the Clinton community and surrounding region. Some achievements in this area:
• Raised over $14,000 for the American Cancer Society by sponsoring the "Rubber Ducky Race" in the town of Clinton.
• Sponsor the annual "Sprintin Clinton" 5k race and fun run - proceeds support the local police, fire, ems and other community projects.
• Sponsored an event which provided flu shots, a food drive and Kid I.D.
• Conducted a Blood Drive - more than 20 pints of blood were donated.
• Co-sponsor of a local Fishing Derby for youth of the Clinton community.
• Provided Care Packages to troops in Iraq.
• Provided scholarships for youth to attend a local YMCA camp.
• YOUTH GOAL: Maintain active youth programs. Some achievements in this area:
• Participated in the Bridging-the-Gap Program at Polytech high school.
• Sponsored an Earlyact Club at the Clinton Public Elementary School.
• Sponsored two students for RYLA.
• INTERNATIONAL GOAL: Support for Homes of Hope Ecuador Project. Some achievements in this area:
• Sponsor, team member and contributor of the Homes of Hope Project.
• Provided supplies for the team that went to Ecuador.
• VOCATIONAL SERVICE GOAL: Maintain support for local vocational programs. Some achievements in this area:
• Provided scholarships for college students.
• Sponsored a high school student studying in Chile in the Rotary Student Exchange Program.
• Sponsored a student essay contest.



History:
The Clinton Sunrise Rotary Club was formed in 1989 and has been continually providing service to our local community as well as on an international level.
