Carrier Clinic’s mission is to provide the best care and treatment to those persons who come to us struggling with emotional and behavioral distress and addictive and psychiatric disorders. As one of New Jersey’s largest not-for-profit behavioral health organizations, we remain dedicated to healing supporting and teaching adolescents, adults, and their families in a safe, compassionate and respectful environment. Description:
Carrier Clinic serves more than 5,000 teens, adults and older adults each year from all over New Jersey with concentrations in Middlesex, Somerset, Mercer,and Monmouth counties. Carrier is comprised of a hospital, residential youth facility, special needs school and addiction treatment facility.
History:
Established in 1910, Carrier Clinic is a private, not-for-profit behavioral health care system in New Jersey dedicated to providing outstanding mental health services to more than 5,000 teens, adults, and older adults each year. Our valued staff members provide community educational programs and support groups for individuals and families and offer outreach education to health care professionals.
