Keepers of the Land, the volunteer program within the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, matches volunteers with service needs in Iowa's public lands. Our volunteers contribute to the DNR's overall mission: To conserve and enhance Iowa's natural resources in cooperation with individuals and organizations to improve the quality of life in Iowa and insure a legacy for future generations.
