 The Salvation Army provides a daily hot meal free of charge to the needy. An on-site cook/supervisor will plan the daily menu. Volunteers are needed to help prepare, serve and clean-up meals provided at the Salvation Army at 1116 Gilbert Ct. Volunteers are needed on Sundays from 11:30am to 1:30pm, Mondays,Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 4:30pm to 6:30 pm and on and Wednesdays from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Children under 16 are not allowed in the kitchen area, but may help in the dining room if accompanied by a responsible adult. Individuals, families and small groups are welcome to help feed the hungry. Anyone volunteering more than once to help with meals will be required to submit a volunteer application and background check. This opportunity is sponsored by: Johnson County Salvation Army
