Kimball Elementary School is looking for skilled, creative instructors to teach classes as part of our After School Program. We have been awarded a grant from the Department of Neighborhoods to develop and expand our innovative After School Program. We are looking to our neighborhood communities to help us develop new curriculum and programming.
Description:
Kimball After School Program serves approximately 200 children in grades K-5th. Classes are offered Monday -Friday from 3:15-4:15 pm on the school campus. Classes meet once or twice a week in 8 week sessions. Currently we are offering instruction in Visual Arts, Music, Dance, Screenwriting, Choir and Ukelele. We are interested in creating new classes, possibly including foreign language instruction,, environmental sciences, oral history, zoology, pottery, book making, ultimate frisbee. We are also open to new ideas.
History:
Applications are welcomed from skilled instructors who are interested in working with elementary school children. A letter of interest and resume should be mailed by November 26, 2007 to the contacts below.
