The Business & Engineering Activists Network's mission is to provide an environment for business professionals and engineers to interact and foster personal and professional connections while contributing to the community by working with local non-profit organizations.
Description:
BEAN is an organization dedicated to providing network opportunities between people of diverse professional backgrounds while at the same time contributing to the community through volunteering and social work. We have a networking night every fourth Tuesday of the month as well as two community service projects every month. We also have other social events whenever we can such as our annual Whistler trip. We are also working on our first mentorship program. If you are interested in doing something good for the community and meet some great people from the Puget Sound area, BEAN is the perfect organization for you. So, join us today.
History:
Incorporated in 2003, BEAN has since grown to an organization of over 1,300 members working with over 100 non-profit agencies and participate in the monthly networking night. Approximately 20 new members join BEAN each month. BEAN Past to Present: A Time of Growth and Change. BEAN provides the leaders of tomorrow with a forum to become friends with each other and also to gain an understanding and appreciation of the critical needs in our community.
