UCUCC Childcare Programs are part of a mission of the University Congregational Church to provide top quality childcare/preschool programs to a diverse population. A scholarship program enables the programs to aid low income and single parent/non traditional family households with reduction to tuition.
Description:
UCUCC Childcare programs offers two programs that serve over 200 families combined. Child Learning and Care Center is a non-profit, licensed, enriched full day preschool that serves 45 families with children 15 months to 6 years of age. Trettin Drop-in preschool is an enriched non-licensed drop-in facility (the only one of its kind in the area) that serves 150 families with quality care for 4 hours at a time.
History:
UCUCC Childcare programs began in 1969 out of a church capital campaign. From the beginning of a few children and two volunteer teachers we blossomed into two programs that have over two hundred children combined, 20 staff members and two Directors.
