The mission of Full of Grace Community Center (FGCC) is to provide the West Philadelphia community with quality educational and human services that will serve to revitalize the community. FGCC offers several specialized programs to youth, adults, and families to stimulate the passion, creativity and personal development while helping to improve the economic base of the neighborhood.
Description:
Full of Grace offers the following programs currently (and we're always looking for new ideas):
After School Program provides leadership development by engaging children in the creative arts. After homework help and tutoring, children go to specialized learning activities, offering a chance for enrichment. Students are offered classes in Culinary Arts, Digital Arts & Multimedia, Fine Arts (Drama, Music, Spoken Word), Language Arts, and Visual Arts (Print & 3D media) Service is offered full days (on days off, half days. Van Service provided.
Summer Camp- offers a full service enrichment camp for your child. From 7:00-6:00p.m. Activities include: Art, Computer, Cooking, Modeling, Language Arts, Spoken Word, & Swimming. Students will go on exciting field trips.
Library Night-“Book some time with your kids!” Youth and families participate in our book club and create special theme based projects.
Karate-Taught by two time World Champion, help your child learn mental and physical discipline. Self Defense class is starting soon.
Dance-Learn jazz, line-dancing, ballet, modern dance, hip hop and African Dance.
Computer Technology-Learn the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to advance your career. Navigate the Internet and build a website using Flash and Dreamweaver. Multimedia classes with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.

History:
Full of Grace Community Center operates in West Philadelphia. It is housed in the old Our Lady of Victory Convent, through the generosity of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the parishoners at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. This is the center's first year of operation. Our focus is to provide dynamic services and programs to ALL our West Philadelphia neighbors.
