A Chapter of The ALS Association (Lou Gehrig's Disease), the Evergreen Chapter was founded in 1999 as a non-profit voluntary health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS in Washington State. The ALS Association Evergreen Chapter exists to improve the quality of life for those living with ALS, to promote education and community awareness about ALS, to advocate for public policy in support of ALS-related health issues, and to provide funding for research efforts to find a cure for ALS.
