Description:
Northshore Youth & Family Services (NYFS) provides mental health, drug/alcohol, anger management, juvenile intervention diversion program, Healthy Start, school based prevention/intervention services, and a wide variety of services to the communities of North King and South Snohomish Counties.
History:
NY&FS was founded in 1971 to provide drop-in services for what were then known as "juvenile delinquents". The agency started with one employee providing counseling service. Boeing donated an old house as out first office. Since then we have grown to 31 employees and offer most programs that the families in our communities require.
