Lutheran Community Services Northwest (formerly Lutheran Social Services of Washington & Idaho), a non-profit, multi-service agency, has over 50 years of providing services in King and Snohomish counties. The North Puget Sound Area Office provides foster care, refugee services, advocacy, and family support.
History:
Lutheran Community Services Northwest was formed in July, 2001 by a merger of Lutheran Social Services of Washington and Idaho with Lutheran Family Services of Oregon and SW Washington. These two agencies, each with more than 75 years of service to the Pacific Northwest, together serve over 300,000 people of all ages, cultures and faiths annually.

From I-5 heading North or South, take the Mercer Street exit 167. Move to the far left lane coming coming off the exit to the light at the bottom of the ramp. Take a left at the light on to Fairview Avenue North (heading south). Go one block and take the first left at the light at Republican Street. Turn right at the first street, Minor Avenue North. Lutheran Community Services is on the corner of Republican and Minor. The entrance is on Minor Avenue.
