The Greater Maple Valley Community Center enriches the quality of life in our community by providing multi-generational social, recreational and educational activities and support services.
Description:
The GMVCC is the site for the area's Senior Services nutrition lunch program and Meals On Wheels. Around this activity there are social and educational activities and health services for Senior Citizens. GMVCC is the Youth and Family Service site for the ninety sq. miles area of the Tahoma School District. Social,educational and recreational opportunities for young children and youth and parents are available both at the Center and in the Community.
History:
GMVCC was incorporated in 1976 by an all volunteer community group. The Center is known at the "heart" of the community. It is a gathering place for all residents of the Tahoma School District. The Center enjoys a rich heritage, however is committed to growing our activities to meet the needs of the burgeoning population of southeast King County.

From Renton: Take Hwy 169 (South) from Hwy 405 approximately 12 miles. Upon entering Maple Valley, take a right at the 4th stoplight onto Witte Road. Go 8/10ths of a mile, past Lake Wilderness Elementary School to 248th Street. Turn left on 248th then first driveway on the left.
From Kent: Take SE 272nd (Kent Kangley) to Witte Road. Follow Witte past Lake Willderness Golf Course. Turn right onto 248th St, then left into first driveway.
