Description:
The City of Bellevue Parks & Community Services Department manages a highly recognized and extensive, "world class" Parks System which is a generous blend of structured and non-structured recreational opportunities. The park system includes 63 developed parks consisting of 725 acres, with well over 985 acres of managed open space (total acreage is 1,711 acres). The Department is comprised of nine divisions: Administration, Enterprise, Facilities Management, Human Services, Natural Resources, Recreation & Special Services, Resource Management, Planning,Design & Project Management, and Probation, which oversee a variety of management functions.
