Elder and Adult Day Services provides individualized care, in a group setting, designed to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life for each person served and those who care for them.

Description:
Adult day health is a community-based group program designed to meet the needs of adults with physical, social, cognitive or health care needs. Structured, comprehensive, and non-residential, these programs provide a variety of health, social, rehabilitative, and related support services in a safe setting. Adult day health utilizes individualized plans of care, quality programming, coordination of services, and support for the families and other caregivers. Together, these services enable participants to remain living as independently as possible in their communities.

History:
Elder and Adult Day Services has served the greater Eastside community since 1984. What began as a small, social program has grown to a nationally accredited day health program with four sites in King and Kitsap Counties. The agency is a free-standing, not-for-profit, governed by a Board of Directors, dedicated to the field of adult day services and to providing quality care for those needing assistance.
