Baker Victory Services (BVS) is a non-profit charitable organization which provides a wise range of services to children, youth and families in need.

Services for the Developmentally Disabled (OMRDD Program)
A variety of services are provided to individuals with developmental challenges and their families. Residential options are tailored to meet individual needs, typically with a focus on children and adults who are medically frail, in addition to having severe mental and physical disabilities. 24 hour care homes have been set up in the community which brings greater independence to the residents as they enjoy a greater role in the community.

History:
BVS traces it's 150 year history of helping others to a small established for children who were abandoned or orphaned when epidemics swept through Western New York. As the needs of homeless children grew, a two story orphanage was built in 1854, and nine years later a boys protectory was built.
Father Nelson Baker took over the administration in 1882 and made an immediate impact.
Today, new services have been added to meet the changing needs of the times, while keeping in mind Father Baker's mission - caring for the less fortunate.
