Children's Hospital Retail supports Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center in its mission to provide quality care to all children regardless of ability to pay.
Description:
Our thrift and gift stores support Children's Hospital by returning 100% of profits to support uncompensated care. We provide a selection of quality new and used merchandise at fair prices. We provide excellent customer service. We maintain a pleasant and cheerful retail environment. We ensure the proper handling, pricing and disposition of items donated to us. We provide a pleasant working environment for our staff and volunteers.
History:
In January 1907, Anna Clise called together twenty-three of her friends to found what was to become Children's Hospital. In 1926 guild members began opening thrift stores to support the Children's mission. Today we have thrift stores in Seattle, Redmond, Kent, Bainbridge Island, Port Townsend and Olympia and two Gift Shops at the Hospital.
