Description:
Volunteers provide one to one visits, read out loud, help residents with menu selections, tutor residents on computer, assist with group activities, decorate for parties, play musical instruments, etc.
History:
Built in 1966 by a group of 15 Lutheran churches, the Hearthstone is an AAHSA-accredited Continuing Care Retirement Community with approximately 260 residents in three levels of care.
