AtWork!
| Last updated on July 26, 2007 |
Our mission is to help people with disabilities to be productive, integrated and contributing members of their communities.
Description:
We provide work training, job development, and placement in community jobs for individuals with disabilities. Ongoing job coaching is provided as needed. We also provide customized services in assembly and fabrication, packaging, recycling, landscaping and janitorial to local businesses.
History:
AtWork! was formed through the merger of two organizations of like missions. Custom Industries and Community Enterprises began employment services for adults with developmental disabilities in the early 60's and 70's. Both agencies were initially formed by parent groups wanting to create work training and employment opportunities for their children with disabilities.
