To enhance the quality of life of medically fragile children by providing 24-hour healthcare services in a loving, family-centered home guided by the principles of dignity, compassion, sharing and stewardship.
Description:
The agency provides a home-like environment for up to 10 children, ages birth to 18 years who require 24-hour nursing care. These children no longer need hospitalization but have medical needs that most parents cannot handle alone. Support and resources are provided to family members.
History:
Founded in 1997, Children's Country Home is a 10-bed, nonprofit licensed home health care facility and pediatric group home. Over the last 9 years, we have served over 80 medically intensive and fragile children. We provide residential, respite, transitional and hospice care for children who no longer need hospitalization, but who have medical needs that most parents cannot handle alone.
