“THE OBJECTIVE OF RENTON LITTLE LEAGUE IS TO IMPLANT FIRMLY IN THE YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITY, THE IDEALS OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, HONESTY, LOYALTY, COURAGE, AND RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY, SO THAT THEY MAY BE WELL ADJUSTED, STRONGER AND HAPPIER BOYS AND GIRLS AND WILL GROW TO BE DECENT, HEALTHY, AND TRUSTWORTHY CITIZENS.”

Description:
The City of Renton is located at the south end of Lake Washington, in the Greater Seattle area of Washington. Of the 45,000 residents in our city, 800+ families participate in Renton Little League.
Renton Little League operates under two Little League charters, Renton North and Renton South but has one Board of Directors. In 2005, we will field approximately 71 regular season baseball, softball, and t-ball teams as well as 12 tournament teams (All-Stars) including 9-10 year Baseball & Softball, 11 year Baseball & Softball, Little League Major Baseball & Softball, Junior League Baseball & Softball, Senior League Baseball and Big League Baseball players between the ages of 5 and 18.
Our season begins with sign-ups in January. Try outs are in February. Games begin in late March & early April. Our season ends in the middle of June when All-Star season begins with District 10's Championship Tournaments. We also have a Fall Ball program.
Our league is able to function through the generous support of our local businesses and sponsors as well as our many volunteers.
