The mission of UCP is: "Working toward a community where each belongs." Our goal is inclusion for all people with our primary focus on individuals with severe disabilities.

Description:
UCP's Community Living and Support Services supports people with disabilities to achieve greater self-sufficiency and dignity. We support people with a variety of disabilities including: cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, Multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, stroke, spinal cord injury, sight and hearing impairments and other developmental and acquired disabilities. By providing a variety of services, we work to help people with disabilities become part of their own communities and participate to the fullest extent possible. Services include: Residential Supports, Attendant Care, Independent Living Education, Vocational Services, non-traditional Case Management, and Children and Family Services. CLASS is not about disability, but is about community involvement.

History:
UCP's Community Living and Support Services (CLASS) is the service corporation of United Cerebral Palsy Association of Pittsburgh. Offering programs that build on individual strengths and promote inclusion in communities, our history of serving people with disabilities goes back to 1951.
