Food Not Bombs is our mission. We believe it is better to use our collective resources to feed and care for one another rather than on wars, militarization and the prison industry.
Description:
We an all volunteer group dedicated to providing free, healthy, vegetarian meals to help build community. We also support groups and actions that work for social justice.
History:
East Bay Food Not Bombs started in 1991. There are Food Not Bombs chapters throughout the world but all are autonomous. We have three guiding principles: Vegetarianism, Non-violence and Consensus Decision Making.
