The Youth Connection, a program of the United Way of King County's Volunteer Center, works with youth programs and supports young people by offering youth service opportunities, and tutoring/mentoring resources, while promoting youth as vital and valued contributers to society.
Description:
United Way of King County exists to help people live better lives, improve their communities, and realize their dreams. We are committed to creating lasting change -- from ending homelessness to giving every child a healthy chance. Using all available resources, United Way of King County is working to make our community stronger. United Way of King County is uniquely able to bring together a diverse mix of resources and invest them strategically to help more people, in more effective ways. We forge smart, strategic solutions to our community's most critical needs through the combined efforts of the excellent work of our Community Safety Net agencies, initiatives and venture funding, and our partnerships with businesses, foundations and federal, state and local governments.
