Description:
The Highline YMCA serves the areas of Burien, SeaTac, Normandy Park, Des Moines and Tukwila. The primary programs are summer day camp, teen development, school-age childcare, youth sports, senior and family programs, and healthy lifestyle activities for all ages. Over 4,000 people are actively engaged in YMCA activities each year.
History:
The Highline YMCA is one branch of the YMCA of Greater Seattle and was chartered in 1965. It has served the community for the past 40 years and is preparing itself for expansion in 2009.
