History:
Founded in 1949 as United Cerebral Palsy Associations, Inc., UCP has since then evolved into one of the nation's largest and most respected disability services and health- related not-for-profit organizations, with affiliates throughout the United States. United Cerebral Palsy of South Puget Sound is a young and developing organization, founded by parents and professionals who saw the need for services for the disabled in our community.

Our current programs are primarily in Pirece County but we do include the following counties in our area of service: Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson, Clallam, Grays Harbor and Thurston.
