Position title: Board Position
Description: The Kirkland Boys & Girls Club is looking for passionate dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of children. We have a Board recruitment team who meets and interviews prospective Board Members. Board Members meet the 3rd Thursday evening every month. Board Members set public policy, provide guidance to the Director and staff and fundraise for the Club.
Type of board position: Board of Directors
The process for selecting or nominating members: The prospective Board Member meets with Director and is given a tour of the facility and a Board Manual. All responsibilites and duties are covered and questions answered. Applicatuion form is completed by prospective member then they are interviewed by the Board recruitment team. If approved there they are asked to attend the next Board Meeting and introduced to the entire team.

Additional information about this position: We are a farily informal group who makes it a mission to have fun. Yes the group is hands on in decision making and participation.
