Join us in supporting art at the source. Artist Trust invites you to consider a board position on our state-wide organization that supports artists; the creative entrepeneurs of our communities.
We are seeking board members who possess a diversity of opinions, backgrounds and skills to enable us to deepen our support to artists of all creative disciplines, throughout the state of WA,. Some specifics re board commitments:
- Must have passion and interest in the arts
- Ability to make a contribution in both time and money
- Terms: 3-years, renewal for an additional 3
- Four board mtgs a year, plus one day-long planning retreat
- Each board member is invited to sit on one of the following committees:
--> Executive (officers); Finance; Fundraising; Board Development; Artist & Outreach and Auction

| The process for selecting or nominating members: |
|
Once an individual expresses interest in board service, the ED and chair of the Board Development committee set up an in-person mtg. Subsequent to that there may be some background checking and then the nominee is introduced to the full comittee. They in turn create a roster of suitable candidates to bring to the full board, where upon the slate is voted on at a board mtg. |
