We love our volunteer tutors at Beacon Hill School! We are looking for individuals who like to work with children, helping them with reading, writing, and math. We have tutoring opportunities, both during the school day and after school. We have many seniors who have been volunteering at our school for 18+ years! One of our most faithful volunteers is 93 years old and has been volunteering at Beacon Hill for 30 years! We also have student volunteers and young professionals. Our volunteers are like family. Please come and join our family! Youth volunteers are welcome. Volunteer with your family. Get involved as a tutor. This is a service-learning opportunity.
Background checks are required for all volunteers. No special training is required. Volunteers will work closely with the classroom teacher. Volunteers should have a kind heart, patience, and enjoy helping children learn. The minimum age for this opportunity is 13 years old.
This opportunity is sponsored by: Beacon Hill Elementary School
