Volunteer positions are available with the Consumer Protection Division of the Washington State Attorney General's Office (also educational internships and work study positions). We require individuals who are highly motivated and enjoy working with the public. Substantive training provided.

Job responsibilities will include providing consumer information and referrals to the public; providing informal mediation between consumers and businesses; and educating consumers about how to avoid becoming victims of fraud.

Our consumer resource centers are located in Bellingham, Seattle, Tacoma and Vancouver.

Work in a Consumer Resource Center for 8 - 12 hours a week generally with a minimum commitment for 6 months. Basic computer experience a requirement.
