The Lake Wilderness Arboretum, located on 42 acres adjacent to the Lake Wilderness Park, is managed and maintained by volunteers. We meet every Wed. and the first Sat of every month from 9-noon to weed, plant, mulch, and prune in the gardens. Whether you are an avid gardener or just enjoy the outdoors and some physical activity, or if you want to work with avid gardeners to learn or even get some answers to gardening questions, you are welcome to join us. To get to The Lake Wilderness Arboretum take the
Maple Valley Hwy (169) to Witte Rd. If you are going south
take a right at Witte Rd and go to 248th St. At 248th St.
take a left to the Arboretum. At the bend in the road, turn left into the parking lot. Walk into the arboretum. We will meet at the gazebo. |
