 Help us make the voice of immigrants be heard! Work to advance human and civil rights! We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals who would like to join our cause. This summer and fall, we will work intensively to convey the importance of voting and to shed light to the issues impacting the lives of the immigrant communities we serve. In this position, a student will engage in the following activities/roles/tasks: Voter outreach, which will be done through phone calls and door-to-door canvassing. Voter education. Get-out-the-vote work through visibility events and Election Day publicity.
For this position, a volunteer should posses the following skills: Patience and the ability to talk to people that you have never met are crucial skills for these positions. Training will be provided before each canvassing or phone banking event. This opportunity is sponsored by: OneAmerica
