Stepping Out For Fun (Volunteer to be a Buddy to a person with a developmental disability.)

Volunteers Buddies are matched with a person who has a developmental disability to go out and have fun once a month in the community. You provide friendship, fun and something to look forward to for both yourself and your buddy. The program solicits low cost or free ticket opportunities. Contact info: alisonpollowitz@earthlink.net or (206) 779-7275 Volunteers ages 14 and up are welcome.

Have a kind, patient and caring heart, an ability to meet once a month with the program participant and keep your commitment, be able to pass a State required Criminal Background check. Having your own transportation is a great plus. The minimum age for this opportunity is 14 years.
