Children's Hospital Bainbridge Island Thrift Store provides a pleasant working environment, new friendships, and an opportunity to make a difference, by using your skills to raise money and insure a healthy future for the Northwest's children. Friendships, smiles and laughter are to be found in our thrift store back rooms as groups of volunteers sort and price our donations. Sorters go through the donations first, sorting by category and quality. Then our pricers price the merchandise and put it out on the sales floor. We need cashiers to assist customers with their purchases and ring up sales on the cash register. Great customer service skills are needed as you represent Children's Hospital to our customers. Youth volunteers are welcome.
Sorters and Pricers will be trained in how to handle both clothing and housewares. Cashiers with previous experience will be trained on the cash register and in customer service. The minimum age for this opportunity is 16 years old.
