Tutoring youth with their academics Working as a mentor or tutor

The Kirkland Boys & Girls Club is always looking for committed community minded people who want to help volunteer as a tutor. Kids need assistance in the afternoon with their homework and other special projects. All volunteers are required to attend a one-hour orientation, and will be matched with a member with whom they will work each week. Youth volunteers are welcome. Get involved as a tutor.

Willingness to want to work with our children, pass a background check, and sit through a short introductory training session. The minimum age for this opportunity is 15 years and older.

 Coming northbound on I 405. Take the 116th exit. Take a right on 116th. At next light (124th) take a right. Proceed 1/4 of a mile and the Club is on the right hand side. Coming southbound on I 405. Take the 124th exit. Take a left onto 124th. Proceed 1/2 mile until a different 124th. Take right at this 124th. Proceed through one light and go through another 1/4 mile until you reach the Club on the right hand side.
