The Kirkland Boys & Girls Club is always looking for committed community minded people who want to help volunteer as a tutor. Kids need assistance in the afternoon with their homework and other special projects. All volunteers are required to attend a one-hour orientation, and will be matched with a member with whom they will work each week. Youth volunteers are welcome. Get involved as a tutor. Willingness to want to work with our children, pass a background check, and sit through a short introductory training session. The minimum age for this opportunity is 15 years and older. Proceed through one light and go through another 1/4 mile until you reach the Club on the right hand side. |
