Page Ahead Children's Literacy Program is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to read to children in preschool and kindergarten classes.
Activities, finger plays, and songs supplement and enrich the stories (all necessary materials are provided). Training is provided at our Greenwood office and schools are located throughout King, Snohomish & Pierce Counties.

Volunteers can choose a weekly, bimonthly or monthly schedule and must commit for a full school calendar year. Story Times occur during the school day and run about 30-45 minutes. Training occurs in late summer or early fall. Volunteers should enjoy interacting with children and be comfortable "in the spotlight." Volunteers must agree to a background check.
