Your American Diabetes Association is the only national organization supporting all people with diabetes: people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, children and adults. History:
Founded in 1940, the American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading voluntary health organization concerned with diabetes and its complications. The American Diabetes Association conducts programs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, reaching more than 800 communities.

Since 1955, the American Diabetes Association has invested more than $200 million on diabetes research, more than any other entity except the federal government.
