CATCH Neighborhood Housing is an award winning, community-based, non-profit organization offering a full spectrum of housing services to low- and moderate-income individuals and families in Merrimack County. Since it was founded in 1989, CATCH has developed and owns 197 affordable rental apartments,helping more than 600 families gain access to safe, attractive, permanently affordable housing. We are thrilled with the recent completion of Friedman Court I, our newest affordable housing development, which offers 54 family-oriented, affordable, quality apartments. Friedman Court II, A CATCH Community for Seniors, will offer 41 affordable apartments to low-income seniors age 62 and over. FCII is slated to be finished in the summer of 2008.
CATCH has also provided home-buyer education and counseling to over 800 families through its Home Buyer & Financial Success Center(HBFSC). CATCH helps low- and moderate-income families become home owners through a three-pronged approached of financial fitness and home buyer education workshops, one-on-one counseling, and financial support. Since its founding, the HBFSC has helped more than 200 families purchase homes worth over $30 million in NH.
