Live and Let Live Farm Rehabilitation Rescue shelter is a non profit 501c3 for animals "mainly horses". Live and Let Live Farm Rescue is a volunteer run facility with funrasing clinics and events and survives solely on donations and its programs.
Description:
Live and Let Live farm Rehabilitation Rescue shelter rescues abused, unwanted and neglected animals, mainly horses, and provides them with either a temporary or permanent safe place to interact with people. We strive to rehabilitate and retrain animals leading to increased confidence and self esteem, along with relationships that benefit both animals and people. Volunteers help rescue, walk and train, love and brush, build and maintain buildings and fences along with on occasion may also foster animals.
History:
Starting with just 4 horses and several other animals, 10 years ago. The rescue has now expanded to, at times, over 80 horses and other animals, 3 barns, 3 training round pens, twenty five paddocks with run-in shelters, an outdoor training ring along with an indoor rehabilitation building, "The Complete Body Rehabilitation Center" in progress.
