To assist children, families and seniors experiencing hardship by helping to improve their quality of life and to insure greater stability.

Description:
Friends of Forgotten Children receives donations of food, non-food items, children's gifts and clothing for distribution to anyone in need. We also offer a mobile food pantry that delivers to senior housing, and sponsor community meals that are served on scheduled Saturday evenings.

History:
In 1972, Friends of Forgotten Children was founded by Ms. Eleanor Still of Bow, NH. For more than 30 years, Ms. Still ran the informal, one-woman charity out of her home with a mission of helping to ensure that no child went without gifts during the holiday season. Since her death in 2004, with the help of many dedicated individuals, Friends of Forgotten Children has expanded Eleanor's work into an organization providing community meals, food and clothing assistance, as well as, continuing Eleanor's work of providing gifts to individuals and families in need of assistance. In 2005, thanks to the generosity of Mr. Robert Finlay, Friends of Forgotten Children has a home that will continue to allow the organization to expand it's work helping to assist children, families and seniors.
