The mission of the American Lung Association of Maine is to lead the nation in lung health promotion and lung disease prevention for Maine people.

Description:
For nearly 100 years, the mission of the American Lung Association of Maine has been to prevent lung disease and promote lung health through research, legislation, and education.

Our work impacts every Maine community and we are proud to say that nearly 90% of our funds stay in Maine. The remainder is used to support national education, research and public policy programs.

We are not a state agency and we do not rely on state funds. The American Lung Association of Maine is supported by private donations and volunteers – people just like you. Together, we can help to improve lung health for the people of Maine.
