Training for new sidewalker volunteers will be held on Wed March 26 from 6-9:00 pm immediately following our Open House. Training covers disabilities awareness, equine behavior and safety. Sidewalkers must be a minimum of 14 years of age. Vigorous walking is required. Sidewalkers act as spotters, walking along side a student with a disability while they are mounted on a horse. Commitment of a minimum of 30 minutes per week for an 8 or 12 week session. This opportunity is sponsored by: Equest Therapeutic Riding Center
