Virginia Tech created a new volunteer program called VT-ENGAGE to encourage volunteerism and enhance the relationship and partnership efforts between the university and the community.

United Way and VT-Engage are community partners in an effort to match volunteers with organizations needing volunteer help by utilizing an online system called Volunteer Solutions.  You can use Volunteer Solutions to find volunteer opportunities and/or post the volunteer needs of your group.

Volunteers: We encourage you to register and complete a volunteer profile so you can receive email alerts about opportunities you would like. Click here to register.

Non-Profits: Register your group's volunteer and donation needs so you can receive email alerts about matches to help you. Agencies and organizations, click here to register.

VT-ENGAGE reaffirms Virginia Tech's commitment to service worldwide and helps people actively live out its motto, Ut Prosim, That I May Serve – established in 1896.

Description:
We are a non-profit retirement community adjacent to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Our 220 acre campus is home to a continuum of living options that includes an active adult neighborhood, independent living in town homes and apartments, assisted living, memory care and long-term nursing care.

We have a variety of departments that could benefit from volunteer assistance that include maintenance, human resources, risk management, health care, housing and resident services, accounting and marketing.
