Virginia Tech created a new volunteer program called VT-ENGAGE to encourage volunteerism and enhance the relationship and partnership efforts between the university and the community.

United Way and VT-Engage are community partners in an effort to match volunteers with organizations needing volunteer help by utilizing an online system called Volunteer Solutions.  You can use Volunteer Solutions to find volunteer opportunities and/or post the volunteer needs of your group.

Volunteers: We encourage you to register and complete a volunteer profile so you can receive email alerts about opportunities you would like. Click here to register.

Non-Profits: Register your group’s volunteer and donation needs so you can receive email alerts about matches to help you. Agencies and organizations, click here to register.

VT-ENGAGE reaffirms Virginia Tech’s commitment to service worldwide and helps people actively live out its motto, Ut Prosim, That I May Serve – established in 1896.

Description:
DePaul Family Services provides Treatment Foster Care, Special Needs Adoption, Clinical Services and Developmental Disability Services to individuals and families. The agency serves over 600 clients each day in our four programs. We provide long term and short term care with individuals with special needs including emotional or behavior challenges,mental retardation or other developmental disabilities. We have both day support and 24 hour programs. We serve western and central Virgina through 21 service locations.
