Virginia Tech created a new volunteer program called VT-ENGAGE to encourage volunteerism and enhance the relationship and partnership efforts between the university and the community.

United Way and VT-Engage are community partners in an effort to match volunteers with organizations needing volunteer help by utilizing an online system called Volunteer Solutions.  You can use Volunteer Solutions to find volunteer opportunities and/or post the volunteer needs of your group.

Volunteers: We encourage you to register and complete a volunteer profile so you can receive email alerts about opportunities you would like. Click here to register.

Non-Profits: Register your group's volunteer and donation needs so you can receive email alerts about matches to help you. Agencies and organizations, click here to register.

VT-ENGAGE reaffirms Virginia Tech's commitment to service worldwide and helps people actively live out its motto, Ut Prosim, That I May Serve – established in 1896.

OUR MISSION

To provide crisis intervention and support services to all victims of domestic violence and their families. To help survivors recover from the trauma of domestic violence. We work toward the elimination of domestic violence by increasing public awareness and decreasing tolerance of domestic violence through community collaboration and education. The Domestic Abuse Helpline for Men and Women strives to improve the quality of life and the safety of victims who are seeking peace in their homes and in their daily existence.
