Virginia Tech has announced a new initiative called VT-ENGAGE (www.engage.vt.edu) to honor the victims of April 16, 2007 and their commitment to service worldwide and reaffirm its commitment to its motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve). You can use Volunteer Solutions to post the volunteer needs of your group or to find volunteer opportunities. If you live outside the New River Valley-Virginia Tech community, enter the zip code of the community where you live in the United States. The goal for the Virginia Tech Community: sign up for and perform 300,000 hours of community service by the end of the spring semester. The goal for Virginia Tech alumni: pledge and perform 300,000 hours of community service by the end of the spring semester.
