This is an opportunity to work with local girls in 6-8 week intervals delivering the Girl Scout Program to girls at other youth based agencies or at our local Girl Scout Day Camps. This would include teaching crafts, songs, games, reading, and sharing any skills, hobbies or talents that you personally have an interest in. This could include ,meeting once a week for 1-2 hours in the 6-8 weeks program or working 3-4 hours per day for one week in the month of June if you choose to work a day camp. A troop leader serves as a positive adult role model. A troop leader must follow Girl Scout program using the appropriate handbooks and Safety Wise. These would be provided for you as a short term volunteer.
