	The Spirit Of Volunteerism Is Alive And Well In Whitfield And Murray Counties During the United Way Hands on Georgia week of service beginning September 26 ? and extending through October 6, 344 volunteers gave a total of 389 volunteer hours of service for a total impact of $7,302. During the Make a Difference Day projects on October 27, 589 volunteers gave 2,254 volunteer hours to 8 local projects sponsored by a United Way grant from Mohawk Industries and the Conasauga River Cleanup with 6 sites. These projects were worth $42,308 to our communities. Details
